This Danbury Mint Shirley Temple Collector Doll, Captain January, is a hand-painted portrait doll in fine bisque porcelain depicting Shirley Temple as she appeared in the famous 1936 film "Captain January". The doll's stunning hand-tailored outfit comes complete with a beautiful tiara of golden filigree set with faux rubies. She comes with a certificate of authenticity, the original box, and a doll stand. She is in excellent condition (like new) and stands approximately 18 inches tall. The serial number is E6586. She was created by renowned doll sculptor, Elke Hutchens.
