This is a vintage Singer featherweight Model 221-1 sewing machine with carrying case. This little portable sewing machine is highly prized by quilters. The machine includes the bobbin case, 5 bobbins that appear original with the machine, hemmers, binders, and stitcher, and the cords and foot control (See photos for all accesories included). It is in working condition and ready to sew, as far as we can tell. The serial number is AH221434 which dates it to 1947. It has been used, and the only real detractor (minor, in my opinion) are some surface scratches on the fold down portion. Also, the original instructions are missing the standard green Singer cover, but otherwise look complete with 56 pages. Case is in good condition. It weighs 19 lbs in the case. The machine itself is about 15 inches long, 10 inches high, and 7 inches deep. If you are the successful bidder, wait for an invoice for the correct shipping costs. We only charge exact costs, but for now, are estimating packing materials. We welcome questions.
