Up for sale is one Egyptian Scarab Geocoin.This is the Green/Antique Copper version (50 made). These are almost all gone now and wont be remade. It features highly detailed 3D designs with soft enamels, and some textured metals.It has a good weight to it (almost 70g) and measures 2 inches long by 1.5 inches wide, and 10mm thick (one of the thickest geocoins made).On the top of the coin it says 'Khepri' in Heiroglyphics, along with an image of the Egyptian God Khepri. On the bottom side is a winged scarab holding up the earth, and the quote "Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most". The coin is unactivated, trackable on and has a custom icon.It will also come in a protective sleeve with activation retrieval information. Coin Background The Egyptian Scarab Geocoin is based on the Egyptain God Khepri (meaning to emerge of come into being), one of the Gods of creation, the movement of the sun and rebirth - and would often take the form of a scarab beetle.The ancient Egyptians believed that the scarab/dung beetle was special, as it would lay its eggs in a ball of dung and push it along the ground, and the young beetles would eventually emerge from the ball as if created from nothing.
