DESCRIPTION: These are the working parts from an old Sonora floor model crank phonograph that I've had for years. I decided that the cabinet needed too much work to restore, so is what's left of it. The last time I played records on this machine (a few years ago) it worked fine. The motor and turntable are mounted on a wooden veneered platform which measures just under 10 1/2" x 13" which drops into the console. Included are the arm and bracket which props up the cabinet's cover, two knobs, and some needles that came with it. The "Sonora" name tag existed when I last used it but is missing now. CONDITION: The motor is well lubricated , showing no signs of oxidation, and has the number 3796 embossed on it. The platter iscovered with green felt. The tone arm's plating is bright and shiny and pivots easily. The reproducer was made by the Audak Company of N.Y. and reads "Matched Unit". The side which attaches to the arm has chips on its outer edge and fine cracks which appears to be the result of drying because of age. The crank arm is in good shape. SHIPPING: Because of its weight (approx. 15lbs), a Priority Mail flat rate box is probably the least expensive way to ship within the contiguous United States and would cost $12.95. I am offering this item as a final sale with NO RETURN. Please email me with any questions.
