Southern Railway Book; Southern's South Western Memories - North Devon, Exeter..

The Southern Region's West of England services towards the late 1950s were steadily nearing the end of a long and distinguished history. The final blow came in 1964 as part of the Beeching re-organisation, all Southern workings west of Wilton were handed over to the Western Region, who set to and suspended all ex-Southern services to the west of Exeter. This book is a pictorial look back at the Southern Region's West of England main line from Waterloo to Plymouth, together with lines in the North Devon, Cornwall and associated branch lines. Hardback, with dustjacket, Ian Allan published 1977. Please see photo two for contents page. 112 pages thick, with each photo having written information to accompany.
