For auction is a Southington Cutlery Co easy open jack with wood handles in very good condition and is approx. 3 1/2" long. The wood handles have chips out.........see photos. Both blades have half stops and extremely good snap. It appears that the 2nd blade was used more than the master. Steel bolsters and brass liners. Southington was in business from 1867 to 1905 putting this knife well over 100 yrs old. Rare to find one this old in this condition. Bruce Voyles gives Southington his highest rating of 5 stars for quality. Fine example of early American quality cutlery.
