MODEL INFORMATION FROM BOX:
The "Standard" 1940 Ford centered on quiet, comfortable, roomy sides and capitalized on the addition of four more inches of leg room. Sealed-beam headlights were a standard safety improvement. The deluxe models featured two-toned dashes with matching steering wheels. The 1940 Ford Pickup featured an entire face-lift with a deluxe grille which combined a center section with horizontal bars and secondary side grids whose horizontal bars were subdivided into three sections by thicker molding. The standard engine was 60 horsepower. 85 and 95 horsepower engines were available with 3 speed transmissions and a floor shift. The biggest change to distinguish the 1940 Ford truck was the hood trim.
