Spyderco White Wayne Goddard C18WMPS, Rare, NR!

Spyderco Michael Goddard White, model # C18WMPS. In the 1980âe(tm)s Spyderco entered a collaborating arrangement on several knife designs with then, up-and-coming custom knife-maker, Wayne Goddard of Eugene , Oregon . Wayne âe(tm)s custom knives were folding models and fixed blades with his signature drop point blade, shaped with a deep cutting belly for outdoor and everyday use. Everyone wanted them for their high-performance steel and drop-point shape. Today, heâe(tm)s a Master Bladesmith, and cornerstone member of the American Bladesmithâe(tm)s Society, who has authored several books on the art of knife making and steels. He is a contributing editor for a knife magazine. In 2008, Spyderco was pleased to again have the opportunity to produce a variation of the original Goddard design using White Micarta. The C18WMPS Goddard has Wayne âe(tm)s traditional drop-point blade but comes paired with a white Micarta handle. The comboedge blade is hollow-ground VG-10 grade stainless steel. The handle is shaped so it can be securely gripped while preventing the fingers from sliding forward or backward. The knife comes with an ambidextrous tip-up polished stainless steel clip. It weighs 2.7 ounces. Blade length is 2 ¾âe, overall length is 6 7/8âe. This knife is brand new and comes in the original box.
