St Anne de Beaupre Quebec Shrine Single Decade Rosary Beautiful single decade rosary has eleven beads: ten Hail Mary beads that are imported from the Czech republic and are of the highest quality for glass beads; faceted and firepolished clear aurora borealis crystal. The Our Father bead is a gold-plated metalic bead with two gold-plated filigree caps. All the beads are 8mm. The nickel silver St Anne de Beaupre sliding locket medal is shaped like a rose on both sides and slides open to reveal the image of St Anne on one side and the Basilica in Quebec on the other. It's like making a little armchair pilgrimage to St Anne's wonderful miraculous shrine! The medal is 1/2" tall not counting the ring at the top. It has a definite vintage look; I think it is nickel silver and has an antiqued finish. The large 1-3/4" Liturgy Crucifix has a bright gold-toned finish and images of the Trinity and Annunciation on the four cross ends and behind Jesus' head. Made with love in the USA by my sister, Joan, this would make a wonderful gift for your grandmother or someone who claims one or more of St Anne's many patronages. In addition to her usual patronages, St Anne de Beaupre is considered the patron of the sick and sailors. The chaplet is about 9" long and comes gift boxed and with the following: St Anne de Beaupre prayer card carry pouch
