The plan of the Circus identifies the 5 roads radiating out from it as "Road from the Borough", "To Blackfriar's Bridge", "Road From Newington", "To Westminster Bridge", and "To the Dog and Duck". An inset engraving is entitled with the delightfully mis-spelt "Elevation of the North Side of The Obleisk"
