Staffordshire blue white pearlware pottery plate Queen of Sheba Spode type C1820 Staffordshire pottery plate c1820 Staffordshire pottery plate,unmarked similar to Spodes Gothic castle ruins in a Chinese landscape,quite early C 1820,typical light weight body,decorated with an attractive fine pattern of Oriental figures known as the "Queen of Sheba" the Queen attended with Blackamoors and one carrying a parasol.Excellent condition with no crazing,no hairline,no chips and no repair.Unmarked,has three tiny stilt marks on the underside rim in the glaze.Fine early study/display piece in great condition .It measures 24cm wide,see pictures for detail *PART OF A LARGE SINGLE OWNER COLLECTION I AM LISTING ON EBAY OF 18thC/19thC BLUE & WHITE some pieces were bought 20-30 years ago for alot more than my listed prices!!
