STAN GOLDBERG (attributed) - BETTY & ME #114 "DEAR BETTY" ORIG ART Click on the image to enlarge STAN GOLDBERG (b. 1933) began his comic book career as a staff colorist for Timely in 1949, ultimately becoming the color department manager for Marvel Comics. It was his illustration work for the Millie the Model titles as part of the Stan Lee and Stan "G" team, however, that really introduced him to the comic book fans. In the late 1960s Stan Goldberg began working on the teen titles for DC Comics and most of the the Archie titles. Today he continues to illustrate the Archie and Betty comic books.This is the original art for a "Dear Betty" page (pg 24) from Betty and Me #114 published in 1980. The image area measures 10" x 15" and the art is in excellent condition.
