The Standard A (petal horn) This Standars Model "A" Talking machine played 78 rpm records that had a large center hole. The Standard Model A was sold from 1908 to 1920 by the Standard Talking Machine Co. in Chicago. Most parts were made by Columbia and sold to Standard. All original, good condition and unmolested. The pedal horn is in good condition and fits well with a maroon color. A screw is missing from the speed control lever. Measures 27" high x 23" deep x 21" across. All items I'm listing are from the same family and have been safely stored for many years (50+). This vintage Talking Machine is truly an antique and has been very well cared for. Payment needs to be received no later than 5 days after end of auction. Checks must clear first. I will be out of town starting 12/21/07 and need to conclude first. I will pack extremely well. Packing, handling and shipping (USA) is a $40. Charge complete. Charges will be higher out of the USA< check for totals. Insurance is recommended. NO RESERVE!
