This Victorian Stereopticon is unmarked, so one can only approximate its age between the 1870’s to the 1910’s.

· Visor is made of silvery tin, held in place with silver colored studs. Visor edges are covered with rose-colored velvet which is worn through and detached in places, as may be expected in a piece 100 yrs. old or more. Visor tin is somewhat crimped along left edge.

· Wood is in good condition; nice dark patina. T are a few splintery areas and chips along the edge of the shaft.

· Lenses are in good shape; right lens has a chip in the upper left corner but it does not impair function nor is it falling out.

· A swivel handle is affixed to the bottom.

· Overall length is 13”.

· Visor width is 5”.

· Height with handle extended is 7”.
