STERLING SILVER PRESIDENTIAL MINT JULEP CUP by MARK J. SCEARCE SHELBYVILLE, KENTUCKY Up for bid is a very nice Mark J. Scearce Sterling Silver Kentucky Mint Julep cup. The cup has the LBJ stamp which would indicate it was made in the 1963-1969 time frame when Lyndon B. Johnson was the President of the United States. The cup is also stamped Mark J. Scearce Shelbyville Kentucky and bears the Eagle stamping too. The cup has no monogram and absolutely no mono removal. T are no dents or dings. Dimensions are 3 5/8 inches in height and 3 1/8 inches top rim diameter. These Scearce cups are handmade of Sterling Silver and are copied from an original, which was made in Kentucky, circa 1795. These replicas are the same size and proportion as the original, and even feature the same exquisite, decorative hand-beading. USPS Insurance is included in the shipping and handling charges.
