A striking Navajo sterling silver bracelet by Paul J. Begay, signed "P.J.Begay, Sterling" inside, having 4 teardrop shaped green spiderwebbed well-matched Carico Lake Mine natural turquoise stones in a row, plain bezel set with silver bead spacers, chiseled fan-shaped decorative appliques to each side of the stone row. Paul Begay was an accomplished Navajo silversmith who worked for renowned Navajo smith Harry Morgan for some years, eventually developing his own style based on traditional Navajo designs. This bracelet measures a continuous 3/4" width, 5 5/8" inside end to end, an additional 1 3/8" gap, and weighs 76 grams. Excellent vintage condition. All sales, as in any auction, are final.
