An absolutely stunning late-19th Century Painted Leather Folding Dressing Screen, circa 1885 Please more antique English furniture in our eBay Store This is one of over twenty pieces of fine English antique furniture dating from the 18th, 19th and early 20th Centuries which we are currently offering on eBay. DESCRIPTION : This is an incredibly rare and quite fabulous antique Screen, which is in totally original condition. It dates from circa 1885, and is in fine quality leather stretched over a wooden frame. The leather was embossed and then painted with the original, highly decorative design of urns & flowers in rich reds, maroon gold & dark green. The leather is attached to the frame with the original brass studs, and the entire piece shows no evidence of any restoration or retouching whatsoever. A very rare piece, which would make a dramatic visual impact in any interior. CONDITION : In good condition overall, and totally original.
