Condition: Good. Margins as shown. Expected toning to paper. Some very faint foxing scattered throughout, with some localized dense areas of foxing or browning to the paper in upper middle of image, and seen from verso as well. Paper tape remnants both upper corners. Thumb tack holes mid upper margin, and upper left corner. Hand written pencil at bottom of verso 150 GESO. No evidence of previous framing or matting. No evidence of restoration.
Impression: Fine. Crisp and clean.
Color: Fine. Minimal fading.
Here we have a rare Japanese woodblock print by Suiko Fukuda, with artist's red seal in upper left. Titled "Kanoko Yuri", dated Showa 11 (1936), with Unsodo publisher's seal in left margin. A truly beautiful rendering of a Japanese or Oriental lily (Lilium speciosum). Flower prints by this artist and publisher are rarely seen on the market.
