The family silver is up for grabs! On offer here is a lovely solid silver button hook that dates to 1856 from the Birmingham hallmark, that does have a makers stamp to both the steel shaft & also by the hallmark, but I am unable to decipher this correctly. The hook measures 2cm across at the widest point of the handle & 7" or 29cm long. The hook is in a great "sound" condition for their years, with wear that is comensurate with it's age, but I can confirm that it is free from any of the usual problems with dents or movement of the handle from the steel hook that you normally find in this type of plaster filled design, that I hope is evident in the auction pictures It has a lovely decorative handle, just as it is shown in the auction pictures, so now is your chance to grab a real antique silver bargain at the extremely realistic starting price of just £4.99, given the high of the item & also the current price for "scrap" silver as well!! Happy bid ding & good luck. Please feel free to ask any further questions about this great item, or email me should you require any more detailed pictures. Serious bid ders only please. Please see my other auctions for lots of very similar & other useful items that we no longer require in our family home. Thanks for look ing.
