This is for a beautiful old Bohemian Czech glass vase from the turn of the last century circa 1900. I am not sure whether it is Loetz or Kralik...but it is a real beauty, the iridescent green glass vase sits in its original silver plated frame and stand. It has two lovely whiplash handles rising up from the base with berry motifs at the top. It is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, i have looked it over carefully and its really clean, there are no chips or cracks anywhere and no damage or wear to the metal frame. It is an extremely striking piece, i have owned it for a while and never tired of looking at its graceful form, the contrast between the vivid glass and the lovely organic design of the frame is superb. The silver plated finish has a lovely rich unpolished patina too it as well, which adds extra presence to the piece. It measures around 160mm at its widest and stands roughly 290mm tall. Please check out all the other glassware, antique smoking and writing implements, scientific and optical instruments, art deco and art nouveau items and all the other vintage ladies and gentlemans accessories i am selling this week.
