Swift Disc Interface for ZX Spectrum from Sixword Ltd. - Original Hardware This is an original Swiftdisk interface from Sixword Ltd. from 1988. This auction is for the Interface ONLY , this does NOT come with a disk drive. To use this device properly you will need to attach a Double sided Double density Shugart compatible 1MByte 3.5" drive with integral power supply (which I say again is not included.) Note. I will also include a newly printed copy of the original 32 page Operations Manual for this device. SWIFT DISC, the fast, friendly Disc Interface for all Spectrums including the 128 and 2+The Interrupt Button freezes a running program. You can then title the program and save it to disc in one easy operation. Even 128 and 2+ programs.Automatic detection of the Spectrum 128 and 2+ from the interrupt button.Resident Firmware allows the interface to automatically adjust to your Shugart compatible disc drive. No tape loading is required.Interface 1 and Microdrives can be used with the disc system, enabling directdata transfer between Microdrive and Disc.Full filing system accessible from Basic.Built in Kempston joystick interface, RS 232 Printer interface and through port.
