This is a real photo postcard of the Sugar Factory and Santa Fe Railroad yards at Swink, Colorado. Swink is in southeastern Colorado near Rocky Ford and La Junta. The town is located in the lower Arkansas River Valley, which was one of the major sugar beet growing areas in Colorado in the 1900s. My guess is that this image was taken around 1910. The image shows the large building in the distance and the extensive rail yard in the foreground. The handwritten note on the front points out the office where Byon (Byron?) works. The card was not mailed and is in good-very condition with light age staining on the front and back, as well as some minor corner and edge wear (see scans). This will make a nice addition for a person who collects sugar factory, Swink, and/or Colorado postcards. The card has been scanned outside the margins so you can see the corners and edges. I will be happy to answer questions. Postage is $2.00 in the U.S., $3.50 in Canada, and $4.00 International.. I will send the card by USPS First Class Mail securely packed between two pieces of cardboard. I will accept returns within 14 days if the card is not as described.
