Tall porcelain vase decorated with reserves of forest scenes and floral decorations. Marked on the base in an impressed circle "Franz Ant. Mehlem/ Bonn Rhein" which refers to the porcelain manufactory "Steingutfabrik Franz Anton Mehlem" in business from 1836 to 1920, after which it was operated by Villeroy & Bock. The mark on the base is circa late 1880s to early 1900s. 11 3/4 inches high, 4 1/2 inches diameter at the base and 5 5/8 inches diameter at the wide part of the shoulder.
