Territorial Efficiency Medal & Burma Star group of 5 to the Worcestershire Regt

On offer is a nice, original and genuine group of 5 full sized medals, consisting of a 1939-45 Star, The Burma Star, The 1939-45 Defence Medal, the 1939-45 War Medal and King George VI silver Efficiency Medal with 'Indae Imp' legend, to 5384581 Private F V Green the Worcestershire Regiment, formerly the Bedfordshire Regiment. A Soldier who was originally in the Bedfordshire Regiment, his regimental number is a Bedfordshire Regiment number and was transferred as a re-enforcment, almost certainly to the 1/7th Battalion the Worcestershire Regiment, in Burma. According to Lieutenant Colonal Lord Birdwood MVO in his history of the Worcestershire regiment 1922-1950 the 1/7th Worcesters recieved a large draft from the Bedfordshire Regiment.
All 5 medals are in Nearly Extremely Fine or better condition, mounted court style on card for display/storage. The 4 World War 2 medals and stars are un-named as issued, the Efficiency Medal is named in the correct style on the rim as follows; 5384581 PTE. F,V. GREEN. WORC. R.
The medals will be well packaged and posted Royal Mail 1st Class Special Delivery, fully insured and tracked, the next working day after funds are recieved, alternately they can be collected by prior arrangemt.
