Up for auction is this great early quack medical device / machine. It is some kind of electrical shocking apparatus. Stamped with a brass tag under lid is "THE FLEMMING ELECTRO-MED. APPS. MAN'FTR" and the tag reads "CHAS. LENTZ & SON'S 18 Nth 11th St. Philad'a. It is also stamped on the face next to the knobs "THE FLEMMING BATTERY PHILA. PAT. JUNE 23, 85. It has what looks like all the original parts. T are wooden wands with Real sponges on the ends. T is a bar of lead with a brass attachment on the top. T is a glass jar that has the word POISON embossed on the shoulder of it. All parts are free moving. T are green and red wires in a seperate drawer on the right side. T is also a long nickel plated brass tube that slides out for something above the drawer. All nickel plating is in great condition with only minor tarnish. Very nice wooden box, looks like mahogany. Small piece of wood panel missing on underside. No strap. Overall very good condition. It measures 9" wide x 8" deep x 7 1/2" high. Any questions just ask. Bidding starts at $.99 and No Reserve!
