Up for auction is a rare, never-removed-from-the-box, Tanker Texaco New York . These model ships were of limited production. They were issued in 2002. This is a rare and highly sought after Texaco memorabilia item. It will make a valuable addition to your collection or a really nice Christmas gift for that special someone who has everything. Note: By choosing the "Buy It Now" function soon, I will do my best to expidite shipment so that the tanker will arrive before Christmas if this is important. This may entail 2nd or 3rd day delivery in which case t could be additional freight charge beyond the $24.00 flat shipping fee indicated below. I am willing to work with you on this if you want it by Christmas. The Tanker Texaco New York was available exclusively from Texaco Chevron, FAMM - Fuel and Marine Marketing LLC. It is hand painted and hand finished. The model proudly displays the words Texaco on either side. It has the Texaco Star Logo on either side of the smoke stack as shown in the included pictures. The model is mounted on a mahogony base with a brass name plate inscribed with the name " New York" . The base is about seventeen inches in length. A certificate of authenticity is included. Other than a relatively minor crunch mark on one corner/edge, the box is in very nice condition with no dicorloration or fading. The box
