Up for bid are ONE OF KIND models from Thomas Warkentin’s personal models ofthe Star Ship Enterprise and other ships he used to create the drawings for the Star Trek comic strip. They were obtained from an estate sale held last month in his Venice California house. I was told by a family member that he hung these models in the air in order to help him with visualize the proper perspective in his illustrations. As you can see most are not complete and are in poor condition . They have pen and pencil marks, because were used to create his drawings. I am selling these as a lot ONLY because I don’t want to break up this Star Trek piece of history. They are dirty and grungy I left them that way intentionally because that is how I got them. There are no other models like these for sale. They were held and used by Thomas Warkentin while he was creating the comic strip. Below is the Ad for the estate sale as well some illustrations from the Strip where the models were used. Please note that the two Comic Strip illustrations in the photos are not part of the items you are bidding for Just the models !
