Three Painted Blanket Chests

American, 1st half 19th century, all three are six board construction. The first in pine with red paint and grained panels, applied lid molding, nailed construction and bun feet, till missing lid, 21.75"h, 37.25"w, 18.5"d, the second a dovetailed poplar case with bracket feet, applied lid molding, black combed paint over red, green and yellow, missing till, 21.5"h, 37.5"w, 17"d, and the third a pine dovetailed case, applied molding on lid and around base, plain board feet, with pinkish red sponging, 13"h, 25.5"w, 15"d.
