AUTHENTIC TIBETAN FIVE FOOT TEMPLE COPPER DUNGCHEN HORN

No collection of Tibetan Cultural items or Musical Instruments would be complete without this authentic ceremonial Tibetan Dung Chen Horn!

Exact size is actual 60”. Taper form mouth about 2” to about 7” at the end. The horn is made of copper with some brass & Gemstone ornamentation. It is a real horn and plays, but I can’t play horns, so cannot give any detail. I does however come from the Tibetan Craftspeople who make horns for all the Temples and is an authentic Tibetan Ritual Horn. Telescopes down to 24 inches for easy transporting.

The Dung Chen is a long Trumphet or Horn used in Tibetan Ceremonies. It is the most widely used instrument in Tibetan Buddhist Culture. The sound is compared to the singing of Elephants. It make a long deep haunting wail that takes you to the highest Himalayan peak and at the same time returns you to your mother's womb.
