TIFFANY & CO STERLING SILVER Pen, Mechanical Pencil Set

WHAT IS IT? I am selling a TIFFANY & COMPANY, STERLING SILVER pen and mechanical pencil set with an incised barber pole-like pattern. The pen is a ballpoint with a screw-in cartridge. The pencil is the type where you put little pencil leads into an interior compartment. I DO NOT HAVE THE BOX. It comes with a Tiffany pouch, but I don’t know if its original to the set or if it was borrowed from a spoon or something (I acquired the set secondhand).

HOW BIG IS IT? They are just under 5-¼ inches long and the shafts are approximately 5/16 of an inch in diameter. (They are a little shorter but approximately the same width as your average, plastic ballpoint pen.)

MAKER’S MARKS, HALLMARKS? Each piece has “TIFFANY & CO.” running down the pocket clip and “-STERLING-” and “-TIFFANY & CO.-” on the end.

WHAT CONDITION IS IT IN? (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS) The pen needs a new cartridge (I left it in so you know what kind to get). I put some lead in the pencil, but I can’t get it to work (I don’t know if I’m using the wrong size lead, if I’m doing something wrong or if it is broken).

The silver on each just has very slight wear, so I doubt they were used very much (maybe one ink cartridge was used or maybe the ink dried up without use). The pouch has ink stains from being stored in a pen drawer.
