Tom Clark Uncle Herschel Cracker Barrel Edition #32 dated 1990 Cairn Studio

From my personal Tom Clark Collections here is Uncle Herschel. After the sculpture retirement sometime during 1999 I found this one for sale at a Cracker Barrel in Greensboro, NC while on a road trip in 2001. It was on display in the restaurant country store without its box and paperwork. I was told by the store clerk that it had been signed by Uncle Herschel McCartney, uncle to Dan Evins, the founder of Cracker Barrel. You can just see the faded signing of Uncle Herschel in black ink just above the Uncle Herschel which is etched into the base on the bottom left (pictured). I did not hesitate and purchased it on the spot for $179.99 plus NC sales tax. In my opinion this cast resin sculpture of Uncle Herschel is in excellent displayed condition. If purchased it will arrive a little dusty with not chips or scratches. There are a few small black dot marks which were there when purchased. These dots or spots can be seen in the photos provided. The piece is approximately 10 inches tall with a 9 1/2 inch base which has a brown felt bottom surface. Because of its weight and size Uncle Herschel will be shipped via UPS. As mentioned earlier the original box and paperwork are not included in this sale.

The winning bidder will pay $20.00 for S/H via UPS Ground Service to include UPS Tracking, Box and Packing Materials. All shipping charges
