Tony Bose Custom Stag Trapper Folder

Early Tony Bose Stag Trapper that measures just under 3 3/4" in the closed position. The knife does not appear to have been sharpened or used. The blades are of D-2 steel and are razor sharp and free of any pits, scratches or rust. Blade finish is clear and bright. The thinner blade has a slight amount of shadow w the steel shows a minor difference in color when the blade was ground. Not always visible and depends on the way the light hits it. A fairly common occurrence with D-2 at the time. ( see photo #2 ) Blade fall is great and with lots of snap. The stag scales match up well and are without any flaws. The brass liners are milled to accept the thickness of the blade tangs. Blades are tight and strong with no play. The pivot pin is visible on the bolsters but are flush and without movement. The bolsters are clear and bright and virtually scratch free. The dark lines across the back end of the knife are only reflections in the photos. This is a very clean early Bose with lots of detail in it's construction and a real beauty for any collection. Come with a custom zippered pouch. These don't come by very often.
