UNIQUE POCKET SIZE KERN DIVIDERS OR POSSIBLY A COMPASS

Up for auction is this neat small size dividers - or possibly a compass - made in Switzerland by Kern. I believe it might be considered a pocket model, since it has a cap that snaps on and off and it does so with that feel you get from only something that is precision made. The legs are just 3" long and overall length, when closed, is about 4", and without the cap, about 3 1/2". The fulcrum piece is marked with an "A", which is perhaps a model number(?). Each end has an eye to allow for tethering or securing in some manner. Both points are double ended metal and I don't know if it has the capacity to use lead or not. I've listed this as used, since I don't know its history, but I think you will find it to be in excellent condition. Obviously, you need to examine the pictures and use them to see the actual item(s) being offered and the condition for yourself in order to help determine your bidding options. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have too. Check my other listings for more interesting items. When possible, I will combine items to save you shipping costs. Shipping will cost $5.50 for Priority Mail delivery, or you an opt for First Class Mail for $3.00. As always, my items are packaged with great care and shipped in sturdy boxes - no envelopes, padded or otherwise. Thanks for looking and good luck.
