Here is an interesting little antique Victorian tin made to contain "Hooper's Cachou Aromatise, London Bridge" pills to sweeten the breathe. The tin is made from gilt metal with the wording raised from the background. There is a small tab which would slide to release the cachous (although the tin is now empty), I'm not sure if this still works as it is difficult to grasp, it may originally have had a small additional upright tab. The back of the tin has a turned type pattern, with no wording. The tin is in good condition apart from the possible missing tiny tab mentioned above. This would make a super addition to a collection of vanity or chemist items. The tin measures 1.5 inches (3.75 cm) in diameter. PLEASE NOTE: Normally I always send items via Signed For insured services for peace of mind to all parties. However, as this is a relatively low value item, I am willing to send by non-insured standard airmail on request, but this will be at buyer's risk of loss or non delivery – I always obtain a posting receipt.
