Offering this special, uniquely hand-crafted personalized antique carte de visite album which contains twenty four (24) original albumen photographs, most dating to the 1860's (Civil War era) with just a few exceptions. Album itself most likely a thick cardboard or similar composite material covered in a sturdy, rich green fabric. Album folds shut via panels folding inwards while laying flat (photo surface lying upwards). Stands perfectly secure on a table or flat surface (main listing photo shows album in standing position).. really a neat way to display this in your home! Inner sections contain decorative paper panels with printed floral Art Nouveau style borders, and applied filler paper implements for associated use of writing of subject's names (hand written cursive, ink). Decorative elements suggest the album to have been created circa 1900-1910. Front cover contains applied / secured paper cut-out, organically shaped with curvatures, and artistically accented with elements : personalized as "Photographs, Mrs. A.E. Byard Stevens". Using my account, I was able to trace the following information to the following subjects shown in the photographs. Here are some of the results :Family ties traced to the Otswego County, New York area. The following members are siblings, children of Joshua S. Byard (1810-1867) and Mary Elizabeth Spencer
