For your consideration: UNUSUAL Silver Plated LADLE John Yates & Sons c1870s Tudor Rose Shamrock Thistle Star Makers mark on the back and also a Victorian Registered Design Lozenge dated 1878Approx 7.5 inches long, undamaged but the plate has wear as shown, with some very unusualsymbols on the handle, starting with a shamrock on the top followed by a Tudor Rose, a porcupine and a thistle on the base. On the reverse is again a shamrock, a star, the registrationlozenge, the makers mark and 3 shamrocks on the base. No idea what it means, but would be interested to know if someone can enlighten me Bargain
