Unusual Vintage Cousin Willie's Hunting & Fishing Knife

Offered for your consideration is an unusual vintage "Cousin Willie's Hunting & Fishing Knife". This is an unusual design with a locking blade and folded steel handles. The knife looks to be a copy of the Geo. Schrade "Sportsman" knife.

The knife has seen light to moderate use and remains in solid condition with no problems. It has not been cleaned or buffed and remains original. The blade was ground with a saw/fish scaler on the spine. The has been sharpened but isn't too far from full. The edge is free of any nicks, chips, or damage and the blade shows just light sharpening abrasions on the mirror finish. Blade travel is smooth and the blade has a solid half-stop. The blade has some slight side play in the open position which was common for this design. The sliding button lock functions in all three blade positions; closed, half-stop, and fully opened. The stainless steel handle is free of any dents or damage. The knife also features and aluminum spacer that also servres as a lanyard loop.

The knife measures 4-1/2" closed and just over 8" fully opened. The knife is only 3/16" thick and makes for an easy carry.

An unusual vintage lockblade folder!!
