First coin of the new series "German Inventions". This 1 oz Silver 999 is a coloured coin with new black-silver effect and partially gold-plated. The background is black ruthenium. The wooden box has been made in high quality. Extremely low mintage of 500 pieces worldwide.

The coin's obverse depicts an image of the experiment to create the vacuum. On top of coin the inscription "German Inventions 2014 - The Vacuum" and on bottom of the coin the weight and the Silver fineness.

The coin's reverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the face value and the country issue.
