is a nice UNUSED REAL PHOTO postcard view showing NO. 2 THE SPLASH FOLLOWING THE SHOT---the companion card NO.1 is listed that puts this at the Mile 125 of the C.R. & N.W. RAILROAD CONSTRUCTION ALONG THE COPPER RIVER in Alaska. It has RAILROAD CONSTRUCTION COPPER RIVER ALASKA 1910 written on the back. It is a CYKO card. The C.R. & N.W. stands for the COPPER RIVER AND NORTHWESTERN RAILWAY which was started in 1908. According to a google search---mile 125 was being worked on around AUGUST 27, 1910 according to photographs on file in archives. This shows the REMNANTS OF THE BLAST and the HUGE WAVE IN THE COPPER RIVER FROM THE BLAST. It is near Valdez, Cordova and the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve.
