For auction a Vega Martin V W 5 ( I think ) 5-string resonator Banjo.The Banjo is in very good overall condition , skin shows some wear, needs new strings,armrest and fretboard some wear otherwise looks great.Minimal belt buckle wear on resonator ,resonator fringe needs polished , tension hooks all there,tailpiece good , tuners turn freely,position markers O K.Heel fits tight to the pot.Slide on neck and bar for slide also 2 National finger picks and 1 celluloid finger pick.Double metal truss in the pot / C.F. Martin decal on interior of pot / stamped serial # 567 below decal.Vega decal on front of peghead, C.F. Martin decal on back of peghead.Side of the pot is a 5 or a 7 layer band not exactly sure how they are counted, hope the pic of that part of pot helps some. Dimensions; 38" top of peghead to tip of tailpiece,nut 1 1/4",fretboard 19 3/4",pot 11 1/4",resonator 13 1/2",pot 3 1/2" deep. 24 tension hooks,22 frets,10 position markers. Comes with case made by Excelsior , Stanford Conn. outside of case in good shape a few scuffs inside of case in excellent condition all latches work.
