On the front of this sterling silver cigarettecase are the symbols of vice. Two race horses on the top, champagne, cigarettes, playing cards, dice and a gentleman with a chorus girl, a large python snake on the bottom all wrapped up with a bow. Drinking Gambling, Wild, Wild Women. The case is curved to fit in the pocket comfortably. The back is engraved with are two plain circles a scrollwork and flowers motif. There are two plain circles, one engraved with a script monogram and r the other with the symbols of the fraternal order of the Mason’s. The interior is gilded with two spring clips to hold the cigarettes. Each clip is marked STERLING and has the WEBSTER logo. In good used condition, remember this piece is over 100 years old. A small dent on the corner, pictured. This is a companion piece to a match safe, vesta. Measures approximately 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”.
