Because I just have TOO MUCH STUFF, I'm finally getting around to putting some of it on Ebay. This, like most of my items, was purchased at an estate sale. All of my auctions start at $9.99, with no reserve, so please check out my other items.

DESCRIPTION: German bisque figural mantel piece. 6-1/2" High, 7" Wide, 3" Side to Side. Lovely maiden in green dress with pink and gold accents, riding with Cherub with wings in an ocean shell pulled by a white swan. It looks like t are waves lapping at the bottom of it. Rests on attached, footed base.

MARKS: Incised mark on base in the back reads "Germany 11 4 10". T are some letters after that, but I can't make them out. Perhaps either the manufacturer or town w it was made. I have no way of knowing the exact age of this piece. It's certainly Victorian in style and marked German, but it could span into the 20th Century. It did come from an estate with many very old items.

CONDITION: Very good. Lovely color. Nice size. The only issues I see are: The ring finger of the cherub has a surface sliver off on the underside. He clearly has all of his fingers, but if you look with a magnifying glass you can
