I am going to be listing some Fantastic early jewelry over the next couple of weeks so check back! Today I'm starting a really AMAZING and beautiful pair of Victorian 18K gold earrings in excellent condition. They are exceptionally constructed in 2 tiers with openwork "petals" that have the form of Marigolds. At each center is a bezel set diamond and the bottom accented with small gold dangling balls. These are older earrings and feature the "back to front" closures, with a hinge in back and the clasp locks into the front of the earrings, see photos. They are perfectly secure and look incredible on, and just the right size to wear all the time. The backs have the "750" mark for 18K gold, and there are also other marks which look like a maker's mark and perhaps an origin mark? They are SO old, and were fairly filthy after about 150 yrs, so I had them cleaned and they look magnificent as you can see in the photos. They would go perfect with either modern or antique gold jewelry. I will be listing a gorgeous diamond, enamel and gold cross that these go beautifully with!
