Victorian Gold, Enamel & Agate Mourning Pendant 1863 ?

I believe this to be a victorian mourning locket, however, there appears to be no hallmarks on the item so I am unable to date it other than the inscription inside the back of the locket. As stated there is no hallmark but the locket is tested as gold.
On the back are the initials FC which I believe are enamelled and the stone is a polished agate.
the locket / pendant measures 38mm from the top of the bail to the bottom of the locket, 23mm wide with a depth of 11mm. Total weight 15gr ( measurements are approximate.
