VINTAGE 1800's GERMAN SWORD / CUTLASS MADE FOR ARGENTINE ARMY BY W.K.C., SOLINGEN The blade is engraved with: WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & Co SOLINGEN (gallery photos 5 & 6) and an A with a small cross on top (gallery photo 4). The handle is engraved with the number: 3089 (gallery photo 9). The guard is engraved with an encircled R.A. (gallery photo 12). Information (a crest?) has been ground from the top of the guard (gallery photos 10 & 11) and a name from the blade (gallery photos 7 & 8). The last word removed from the blade appears to be: ARGENTINO APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: L.O.A. ~ 32.0" (81.3 cm) Blade Length ~ 26.25" (66.7 cm) Blade Width (adjacent to guard/handle) ~ 0.31" (7.94 mm) Blade Height (adjacent to guard/handle) ~ 1.44" (36.58 mm) WEIGHT ~ 2 lbs 10 oz (1.2 kg) RESEARCH INFORMATION (the swords pictured below are in example only): Swords & Bayonets - Militariarg.
