This is a bayonet with scabbard marked "ARTILLERIA DE TOLEDO 1898" on the hilt of the blade. It appears to be an authentic Spanish bayonet from the Spanish-American War which makes it slightly over 100 years old. Overall it is complete and missing nothing. The scabbard is metal with a hook for the belt at the top, leather through the middle, and metal on the end. The scabbard metal is discolored with surface rust. The leather is very nice. The overall length is 15 inches, and the blade itself is 10 inches. The blade has some discoloration and light scratches, but no rust pits that I can see or deep gouges, etc. The lock ring behind the blade is complete, discolored and with surface rust. The bayonet has wood handle inserts, which are complete and in pretty good shape. A couple of nicks and minor dings. The end of the bayonet has a metal handle/bracket for attachment to a rifle I assume. Overall its complete, the blade itself is in pretty good shape, the rest of the metal is somewhat discolored from age and has various areas of surface rust, and the scabbard is complete with very nice leather. Will weigh about 2 lbs packed.

This is a no reserve item.
