[zipedit] •• Description •• This vintage art deco chandelier is from the late 1930's era and is pure elegance. A beautiful example of the workmanship, detail & style of the period. The thick pressed glass shade has a satin cream colored finish with a beautifully designed leaf & dew drop inspired clear glass rolled rim. It has a pressed glass column and bobeche holding 5 beautiful thick antique crystal prisms, a solid antique brass canopy & cover as well as a solid brass finial and clear crystal ball prism. The detail on this period light is stunning lit or unlit, and it's important to note when you look closely at my lights you will never see raw pipe showing through the glass stem or body. The fixture has been updated with new wiring & a new 2 socket cluster that accept (2) 60 watt maximum standard base bulbs and will arrive ready to hang with mounting hardware included. The shade measures a nice 12.5" wide and hangs 18" from ceiling to bottom of shade, 20" to bottom of finial. The entire light is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or issues and remarkably the shade appears close to original condition including the beautiful satin finish. This is one of the favorites from it's period and would compliment most vintage Art Deco, Art Nouveau or Victorian decors and also enhance modern or new construction homes.
