This is a 1930's Ideal composition Shirley Temple doll. She is in fair condition. She has cracks on her face, particularly near eyes, on arms and legs, but particularly bad on one of the arms. She needs restringing, as she is loosely strung. She also has joint rubs. Please see photos for details.
What I love about this doll is that she has her original brightly colored cheeks, lips, hands and knees. She has one of the sweetest faces I've seen, all of her fingers and toes, (though there are cracks/chipping) and most, if not all, of her eyelashes are present. Her eyes open and close easily, and they are clear, which is rare for dolls this age.
This doll is marked 'Shirley Temple' on her back and neck, along with the number 16 on her neck.
Please look at the photos carefully and ask questions before bidding. I was limited to only 12 photos, but I do have others, which I will be happy to send. There are no returns.
