Up for auction is a really nice 1930's VINTAGE NORAH WELLINGS NATIVE CLOTH DOLL that is 16 inches tall. She has light brown curly mohair and a cotton molded-feature face that has black painted brows, side-glancing black eyes, red-dot nostrils, and open red lips with white teeth. The hard stuffed body is made of light brown velveteen. The doll has her ORIGINAL orange lei, grass skirt with fabric band, brass hoop earrings, and arm and leg bracelets. She was one of Norah Wellings earliest creations. No identifying markings. The doll is in great condition, no splits, clean and without odor. There is one tiny 'pin-head' hole on her cheeks.
