This is An Antique Pressed Steel Wind Up Greyhound Bus Called Buddy "L" Produced from 1938-1940 By The Buddy "L" Company In East Moline, Illinois. The front bumper is split in half but still intact. This bus looks like it could use a little TLC to get it working again but it does not appear to be missing any major parts as far as I can tell by looking at other examples on line except for the lever that opens and closes the door. It looks like all the drive gears are there (although they could use some repair and alignment because one of the gears shafts is bent). This would be a great display whether it works or not and a marvelous addition to any antique toy collection. This item measures 16 1/4" long x 3 7/8" wide x 4 1/2" tall. Thanks for looking!
